What would have been possible to visit in Brittany if this bloody virus did not emerge?

You could have started by Rennes city center where old buildings (Brittany's parliament, timbered houses, City Hall, Palais du Commerce,...) are located at walking distances from more modern ones (Les Champs Libres culture center, train station,...). Many churches and gardens (Thabor garden is the largest) are also worth a visit before sharing a drink in the "Rue de la Soif".

Then you could have reached the North Coast of Brittany where you would have met, from East to West:

• At the border of Normandy, our World known jewel, the Mont-Saint-Michel, that you can reach by bus from Rennes (approx. 1 h)
• Saint-Malo, the Corsair City with its fortified walls, old sailboats and kilometers long Sillon beach is connected to Rennes by train (approx. 1h) and can be reached by car (approx. 1h) from Erquy.
• The medieval city of Dinan is connected to Rennes by bus (approx. 45 min.) and can be reached by car (approx. 45 min.) from Erquy.
• Paimpol and the Beauport Abbey is separated from the Brehat island by the Arcouest peninsula where our famous predecessors were spending their Summer holidays every year: Marie Slodowska Curie, Irène and Frédéric Joliot-Curie, Jean Perrin, André Louis Debierne (discoverer of Actinium!) among others. Reachable by car from Erquy (approx. 1h).
• The Pink Granite Coast and its wonderful colors at sunrise or sunset. Reachable by car from Erquy (approx. 1h30).
